Patience

A garden full of fruit. Thousand shapes of green. Cool shade from the beaming rays. I'm really far too early. Another week to Eden. Patience is not a virtue.  Its hunger. Its longing. Waiting. For a taste so familiar...

And finally.... Reward!

Something in the ruins

I passed by this place today and was left mesmerized. But it wasn't the house, or whatever was left of it itself. It was the way rich afternoon rays changed color bouncing off each-other, while coming through the large holes, left where ones windows and doors have been.

The reds, purples and yellows danced with one another fiercely, creating a beautiful spectrum. One that screamed anger.

I wish I could have been here this morning to witness the sunrise...to have seen how the pastel calmness of awaking pinks and mellow blues transformed this place slowly into a serene one, full of calm and longing.

A glimpse back in time

I have a "thing" for windows. Passing by the old houses in historic Sozopol I wander what stories are hidden within them. What lies behind dusty windows and tightly shut blinds? Was this ones someone's happy home, filled with laughter? My imagination goes wild...
Right now they look sad. Deserted. Bent under the pressure of times past. It's a different kind of beauty this...severe in a way.
An empty house is like a lonely person...They need love. A tender touch to awaken them and return them to their former, long forgotten glory.
